When Kiera was sixteen months old, we had the plan all laid out. When she turned 18 months old, we would get back on the adoption list and prepare for another child.
Other plans ordained by One greater than we had a different idea. Overnight we went from a family of three to four when the adoption agency called us about a little girl who would be named Kaylee Grace.
Fast forward to this year. Kiera started pre-school, and once again we had the plan all laid out. Each child would get a year of pre-school. Kiera, Kaylee, and then Kevin.
Well, some One had different plans. Through an initiative of the Dayschool and through no action of our own, Kaylee was invited to begin her schooling. Suddenly, we have two children in school. Wonder of wonders.
Kaylee walked in with a little bit of apprehension, but as far as I know, she shed no tears, and when she came home this afternoon, she was very cheerful. I hope that she enjoys school just as much as her older sister!
